feelings long gone....

A woman wears her lovers clothes because she likes his scent and because she is trying to understand why she feels both free and broken at the same time... Why does she feel whole when she has given away her body, brain and heart? Why doesn't she want to escape? She wants to feel her lovers scent against her skin and she doesn't understand that this feeling that makes her a prisoner is actually what is setting her free...
// Kim Echlin  (It's like we have the same thoughts and feelings)

There are scents I will never forget. I want to wear someones clothes again....

morning...

Today I have so much energy... NOT!
To make the morning a bit happier I give you, from this weekends party, Dirt in purple helmet, this is what she would look like if she was a member of the village people ;)

Hope your Monday is good!

Nostalgia-Sunday

so... where to begin? I moved in to my new apartment yesterday!!! Yay for me! So now I'm only waiting for the painter to get done and so on... It will probably take another week or two, at least I'm out of the old apartment and almost rid of my old landlord whom I hope will be crushed by an elephant! Huge thanks to my family and friends who made the move (seven stairs up without an elevator) possible!

After that, on my way to a party, I managed to get my self locked in between my old apartment and the gate out into the street... had to call my old landlord who had to drive 20 min to let me out, funny.... not! Well, finally I arrived at the party, had a great time, went dancing, and this morning I noticed that I'm 90 years old! At least my body thinks so.

My diet is moving along, two weeks on Wednesday with 400-800 cal/day. Makes me a bit cranky since I like food but well, I really need it!

Now, after unpacking the kitchen (the only thing I CAN unpack), waiting for Petra to come home and give me coffee, I'm listening to nostalgia-music, looking at old photos... mmmmm the good ol´days! It makes me sad that so many people have left the different groups over the years... *misses*

This is my playlists today:

Den otippade listan (med viss hjälp av smuts) on Grooveshark

Hope your Sunday is great!

The family-scrapbooking-disaster

So, tonight we gathered at Petras house after a tour of my new apartment (yay, moving in saturday!)! We were supposed to make something for our friend whos birthday is coming up. This may sound simple, but in our family nothing is ;) I still ache all over from all the laughing! First of all we have Petra and Marcus, the siblings, who always get in some kind of fight, tonight Petra among other things threatened to stick a needle in Marcus eye :) second we have me and Jo who can't keep serious about things like these if our lives depended on it. It started out pretty calm since Jo finds scrapbooking kind of gay and didn't want to help. Then she found out how fun glitter and bling is to Petras great horror! Petra HAD a system, both for the job at hand and how she kept her material... Then we chimed in ;)
"What do you mean "its full"? Look, I can add more, there can never be to much bling, look at me I'm scrapbooking!!!" (Petra was almost crying at this point)
Marcus decided he neded to add something as well ;)
Above Jo says to Petra: Yes, now your thinking "what the hell are you doing" and THAT I'm going to tell you little yummy! And for the swedish readers: Ja nu tänker du: "Vad i helvete gör du" och DET ska jag tala om för dig lilla mumset! HA HA HA HA HA :) But she never did, she just took the opportunity to add even more stuff :)
Here, Petra has lost all hope :) :) :) :)
And this is how we felt about that! ;)
Nothing comes out of the bottle... Petra says to Marcus: Go get a needle, there's something stuck in the cork (the one she later wanted to stick in his eye) Jo says: NO! Thats for wimps just press!!! Need I say we laughed so hard we almost died, after all that had all ready happened and Petras decreasing mood :) It all ended with Jo, taking almost all of the glitter in the picture and smearing it in Petras face and on her arm, me, trying to color her cat with it and all of us later standing in the street laughing about elephants! A normal evening with the family!

Now I'm going to bed!

Taking care of buisness in my purple onepiece!

Yes! The morning starts with efficiency! In one swoop I took care of the IRS (told them I'm moving) which made it possible to apply for housing-aid so I did that too and I found the number for the electricity-company so I can call them later on today! Yay for me and go team! Now it's time for breakfast and an episode of Happy Endings! After that I will take some stuff up to my new storage-unit, visit the library and then go see mom and Alma.
And for all of you who can read Swedish I found a really true and fun t-shirt on one of the teachers that work with me!
A so-so translation would be: "What is being written is just the sediment of experience"
And with this I leave you! ;) Have a nice day everyone!

Angry cat, fabulous handymen and musicians!

Alma (the gato loca) is back in town! She is staying with mom until we get access to the new "fortress" :) So everything is good in the hood except for her being extremely mad at me... probably for leaving her with dad in the first place.... well, hopefully she'll get over it!
At least now you can see where I live, my handymen installed a completely new mailbox for me!

Post-it-art has reached my school! Found these today on my way to get coffee! Thinking about a project involving that... well... we'll see how much time I've got after the project I'm starting up on Wednesday!
As you all know I'm studying to become an art/music teacher. The department where I'm at teaches art, drama, dance and music and we like what we do! We also think that we are a bit better than everyone else apparently ;)  Someone had put this up in the main corridor this morning:
If you cant read it, it says musicians. As you can see this wasn't very popular! Hope you are enjoying your Monday!

Sunday in Royal Albert Hall

Or almost... woke up sore all over from sleeping on the sofa-bed... With beer in the brain it took me most of the night to figure out that I could turn around if I wanted better support for my back... well... Since I was smart when I came home (apparently I had made food, and had lots of water) I was hardly hung-over from the partying yesterday! So, I talked to Tony and Petra on the phone, my window got an angry swarm of stones thrown at it (Petra had arrived but since I didn't have call waiting I didn't know and it was cold outside) and me and mom met up to go to the cinema where they showed the 25 anniversary of the phantom of the opera from Royal Albert Hall! Oh I cried, ate popcorn, was blown away and tried some peanuts in chocolate. Not as good as when me and mom saw it live in Copenhagen but still amazing! On the whole a very good Sunday!

Now I'm having some food, an episode of warehouse thirteen and then I'm going to "bed", tell ya more tomorrow!

and again something dies

Today we moved Daniels things... So now I sit here in a corner, in the sofa that will be my home for two weeks, looking out over 97 square-meters thats now empty. It's sad... So much happened here and now nothing will happen here ever again. It's like I can see the ghosts of us, our friends and family doing stuff here... Everything eventually dies apparently...

Summer is also dying, at least that's beautiful....
Well, now I'm going to blast some music, make some food and get in the party-mood because tonight we celebrate Petras new home! Next time it will be my turn! So family and friends, I will see you tonight, in another home than this one...

ALONE!!!!! almost....

so all of my girls left me... Jo went to Borås because that's where her man is, Petra went to Malmö because that's where her friend is and Dirt went to Ullared because that's where all her new things live (Ullared is a big store that sells everything, people from all over sweden go there). Me? I'm going over to mom's place to drink some mojitos and watch Idol! The show sucks but mom and mojitos are awesome so yay! Today the people in my work team had a planning/team/getting-stuff-done day. We went out to Saras summer house which is right by the ocean. So beautiful! Interesting day even if my head now feels like a bag of goo! Hope everyones Friday is amazing!

Recap

Above is the beautiful morning view I had on my way to work my first day! Fall is here and I love it! Below we see one of my many lists... I do at least three of these every day, being a teacher AND a student at the same time is hard work I tell you!
These green footprints I found in my classroom the other day... Do I have secret green smurf students??? I don't know...
So, today I had my first "completely-on-my-own-class" and it was amazing! So rewarding! We worked on Light/shadow and they showed huge progress right away! Thinking about how amazing it is to watch them grow now makes me think that it must be a mind blowing experience when you get to follow them for three whole years! Look at the first pictures to the left and compare them to the ones on the right.... I can hardly believe it!
The other day me and mom decided to have a luxury breakfast and ofc mom found a pink cake! For you all to get this I should probably tell you that she has a poster in her kitchen with a pig wearing pink accessories saying: "Life is Pink" and that is the least pink part of her life ;)
yeah... It's the most pink cake I've ever seen... I had a chocolate one but it wasn't as photogenique! :)
Since my last post we also moved Petra in to her new apartment! We opened the door and Jo said: "Ok, now you take a moment and look around, this is where you will get married, have your babies and die, I hope that feels good!" I should mention that Petra has moved more times than a circus! We moved her brother Marcus last month and this month it's finally my turn!!! Now I just need to convince everyone that it is worth it, moving my stuff 7 stairs up without an elevator ;)
Above: Marcus and Jo in "moving-Petra-mode" Below: Petra, Marcus and their mom Bodil in taking-a-break-mode" ;)
And here we see everything I own in the world... Almost anyway, some packing left to do but not much. New apartment here I come!!!
Below: Me, happy with my self for a productive and good day at work, writing on both my essays, packing, doing laundry and planning more classes for the weeks to come!
I hope you all have an amazing evening!!!

Alot happening

So, it's been a while since I updated... I have finally found an apartment, an amazing 82 square-meter at the top floor in the same building as Puls, our favourite hang-out-place :) It's got a fireplace and an amazing wiew. It's in need of some renovation but that's just the way I like it, it gives me an opportunity to really make it my own, I can't wait to get in there!

I also started my 8 week long inturnship at a school wich is part of my education. I've had my first classes and I really like it here. I'm already more confident in my role as a teacher and I've gotten my first assignment, more on that tonight because my class is starting now!
