It's the first time I'm using my fireplace! Both me and Alma thought it was fantastic! The only thing to think about now is how I'm going to pay for all the firewood ;)
These pictures are from Sunday just before my friends arrived for the advent-celebration, mmmmmmm christmas....
And this is todays breakfast! Nice! Now I'm going to eat it and watch the first part of Terry Pratchetts Hogfather!

What did you want to be when you grew up?
So This weekend we had a birthday-party for David. The theme was: When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up. Here we have my arrival to the party dressed like my dream-job: Truckdriver!
And here is some of the party-crew getting their drink on! ;)During the evening you could see a clear pattern of me getting happier:
and happier....
until this type of mode was a fact:
Lets just say: no more tequila for a loooooooooooooooooooooooooong while....
Hope your weekends were good!

Alma, new furniture and power-tools!
Hello!
Last I wrote was last tuesday, the rest of that week I mostly tried to keep up at work... Thursday morning this is what greeted me on my way to work:
During the day we had "living model", since that is rare, even I took the opportunity and did some sketching!
In the afternoon I was so tired I hid where we wash the silkscreens... ha ha ha this is me then:
When friday came I had to get the apartment as ready as possible because Alma was moving back saturday. (mom had had enough ha ha ha) So I spent eleven hours right after work trying to get the place done. I'm still not done but now it's not much left! Saturday mom and I took care of the Alma situation and got me some more stuff from her basement. The evening was spent here at home with Jo, Marcus and Vonkii (Veronica) AND some eggs that were looking really unfriendly at me when I was making dinner....
Sunday was fathers-day so dad came here for some coffee. cake and presents! He also brought his power-tools for me... Now those who know me might think: "EEEEEEEEEEh was that smart? or even a good idéa?" They might be right! Suddenly I was mad with power and wondered why I didn't have anything else that needed to go up on the wall...
Today me and mom went and got my new table and two chairs so thats what I spent the afternoon doing together with unpacking my wardrobe, cleaning and doing the dishes.
The new table and chairs that I managed to put together:
My livingroom window with the old watertower in the background:
Alma:
And during the evening I've had some coffee with Petra, Dirt, Jo and Marcus. Nice!
Now I'm worth some Game of Thrones!

Karlskrona, constant art and done apartment
Yo!
Today I went with Petra to Karlskrona for lunch and a visit to the tattoo parlor. Lunch was crazy... people was hysterical over getting seats, food, well, everything you can think of...

Petra and Calle had what looked like a nice lunch (I had a shake as usual...) and we survived the rush-people! after that we had some detours but we ended up at Constant Art Tattoo for Petras beloved crow!
I found out what mine would cost so now it's "trying to save even more money mode" for me ;)
It was a very happy Petra on the train home :)
When I got home I found a note on the floor from my handyman saying that everything in the apartment is finally done!!! So now I'm going to start the unpacking process! I'm soooo happy!!! Later on there will be a visit from Jo, Dirt and Marcus, nice!
Hope you had a good Tuesday!

Less washing-drama and tattoos
yay go team me!!! I found a manual for the washing-machine in my apartment! I thought I was going to have to go by trial and error, biting my nails while the machine MAYBE destroyed my clothes... Now I am a washing-machine champion! wooo hoooo!
During my week off I made some potential tattoos...
one for my neck:
This is a Buddhist mandala that I made with the Medicine Buddhas mantra around it in a Tibetan script.
I also made one of the four noble truths but I don't know where to put it ;)
I have many more, but those I don't want copied so they will not appear here. These ones that I have published You can't really copy if you don't know what they say, and if you do, it's fine by me!

lately
I know, I know, I've not been so good with the whole posting thing...well, I'm still waiting for the painter to get done so I can unpack. It's really tiering not having access to my things...
The weekend was spent at home. Friday me and Dirt watched movies and ate "snacks", it was awesomeness!
I had forgotten how much I like veggies!
Saturday I kicked back with some shows, Sanctuary, Warehouse 13 and so on.
Sunday me and mom went through her basement and brought my stuff from there here. It was everything from lamps to Christmas decorations and small furniture! This resulted in me, pretending to be an electrician... I really wanted those lamps up and running, so I cut some cord, removed the plastic, changed some things, added other things and now look at it!
So much bling in one lamp makes my tummy happy! ;)
The rest of the Sunday evening was spent with Dirt and Petra who came over for tea and company.
After a week of vacation it was really hard getting up this morning, on top of that Mondays are the worst days at work... This is me during the morning meeting where we were supposed to make a pedagogical plan for each of the courses that we provide.... academics, monday and no coffee... after that, this is me:
Around four I sent out a text message to my friends where I promised them my kingdom if I could go home earlier... That didn't happen... At least survived the day and I have a living room floor!!! Tomorrow I will be here working on my paper and hangin out with the painter, which I did all of last week. Turns out we have the same taste in music and everything so I went with him and his friend for coffee, and no, it's not THAT strange! I'm just like that!
In the evening I will get a visit from Dirt and Jo, tempting me with stuff I can't eat since I'm on the diet still! ;) Well, it's worth it, cause I love them and I love having my friends in my home!
Have a great night all!

feelings long gone....
A woman wears her lovers clothes because she likes his scent and because she is trying to understand why she feels both free and broken at the same time... Why does she feel whole when she has given away her body, brain and heart? Why doesn't she want to escape? She wants to feel her lovers scent against her skin and she doesn't understand that this feeling that makes her a prisoner is actually what is setting her free...
// Kim Echlin (It's like we have the same thoughts and feelings)
There are scents I will never forget. I want to wear someones clothes again....

Nostalgia-Sunday
so... where to begin? I moved in to my new apartment yesterday!!! Yay for me! So now I'm only waiting for the painter to get done and so on... It will probably take another week or two, at least I'm out of the old apartment and almost rid of my old landlord whom I hope will be crushed by an elephant! Huge thanks to my family and friends who made the move (seven stairs up without an elevator) possible!
After that, on my way to a party, I managed to get my self locked in between my old apartment and the gate out into the street... had to call my old landlord who had to drive 20 min to let me out, funny.... not! Well, finally I arrived at the party, had a great time, went dancing, and this morning I noticed that I'm 90 years old! At least my body thinks so.
My diet is moving along, two weeks on Wednesday with 400-800 cal/day. Makes me a bit cranky since I like food but well, I really need it!
Now, after unpacking the kitchen (the only thing I CAN unpack), waiting for Petra to come home and give me coffee, I'm listening to nostalgia-music, looking at old photos... mmmmm the good ol´days! It makes me sad that so many people have left the different groups over the years... *misses*
This is my playlists today:
Sunday on Grooveshark
Den otippade listan (med viss hjälp av smuts) on Grooveshark
Jazz on Grooveshark
Hope your Sunday is great!

The family-scrapbooking-disaster
So, tonight we gathered at Petras house after a tour of my new apartment (yay, moving in saturday!)! We were supposed to make something for our friend whos birthday is coming up. This may sound simple, but in our family nothing is ;) I still ache all over from all the laughing! First of all we have Petra and Marcus, the siblings, who always get in some kind of fight, tonight Petra among other things threatened to stick a needle in Marcus eye :) second we have me and Jo who can't keep serious about things like these if our lives depended on it. It started out pretty calm since Jo finds scrapbooking kind of gay and didn't want to help. Then she found out how fun glitter and bling is to Petras great horror! Petra HAD a system, both for the job at hand and how she kept her material... Then we chimed in ;)
"What do you mean "its full"? Look, I can add more, there can never be to much bling, look at me I'm scrapbooking!!!" (Petra was almost crying at this point)
Marcus decided he neded to add something as well ;)
Above Jo says to Petra: Yes, now your thinking "what the hell are you doing" and THAT I'm going to tell you little yummy! And for the swedish readers: Ja nu tänker du: "Vad i helvete gör du" och DET ska jag tala om för dig lilla mumset! HA HA HA HA HA :) But she never did, she just took the opportunity to add even more stuff :)
Here, Petra has lost all hope :) :) :) :)
And this is how we felt about that! ;)
Nothing comes out of the bottle... Petra says to Marcus: Go get a needle, there's something stuck in the cork (the one she later wanted to stick in his eye) Jo says: NO! Thats for wimps just press!!! Need I say we laughed so hard we almost died, after all that had all ready happened and Petras decreasing mood :) It all ended with Jo, taking almost all of the glitter in the picture and smearing it in Petras face and on her arm, me, trying to color her cat with it and all of us later standing in the street laughing about elephants! A normal evening with the family!
Now I'm going to bed!

Taking care of buisness in my purple onepiece!
Yes! The morning starts with efficiency! In one swoop I took care of the IRS (told them I'm moving) which made it possible to apply for housing-aid so I did that too and I found the number for the electricity-company so I can call them later on today! Yay for me and go team! Now it's time for breakfast and an episode of Happy Endings! After that I will take some stuff up to my new storage-unit, visit the library and then go see mom and Alma.
And for all of you who can read Swedish I found a really true and fun t-shirt on one of the teachers that work with me!
A so-so translation would be: "What is being written is just the sediment of experience"
And with this I leave you! ;) Have a nice day everyone!

Angry cat, fabulous handymen and musicians!
Alma (the gato loca) is back in town! She is staying with mom until we get access to the new "fortress" :) So everything is good in the hood except for her being extremely mad at me... probably for leaving her with dad in the first place.... well, hopefully she'll get over it!
At least now you can see where I live, my handymen installed a completely new mailbox for me!
Post-it-art has reached my school! Found these today on my way to get coffee! Thinking about a project involving that... well... we'll see how much time I've got after the project I'm starting up on Wednesday!
As you all know I'm studying to become an art/music teacher. The department where I'm at teaches art, drama, dance and music and we like what we do! We also think that we are a bit better than everyone else apparently ;) Someone had put this up in the main corridor this morning:
If you cant read it, it says musicians. As you can see this wasn't very popular! Hope you are enjoying your Monday!

Sunday in Royal Albert Hall
Or almost... woke up sore all over from sleeping on the sofa-bed... With beer in the brain it took me most of the night to figure out that I could turn around if I wanted better support for my back... well... Since I was smart when I came home (apparently I had made food, and had lots of water) I was hardly hung-over from the partying yesterday! So, I talked to Tony and Petra on the phone, my window got an angry swarm of stones thrown at it (Petra had arrived but since I didn't have call waiting I didn't know and it was cold outside) and me and mom met up to go to the cinema where they showed the 25 anniversary of the phantom of the opera from Royal Albert Hall! Oh I cried, ate popcorn, was blown away and tried some peanuts in chocolate. Not as good as when me and mom saw it live in Copenhagen but still amazing! On the whole a very good Sunday!
Now I'm having some food, an episode of warehouse thirteen and then I'm going to "bed", tell ya more tomorrow!

and again something dies
Today we moved Daniels things... So now I sit here in a corner, in the sofa that will be my home for two weeks, looking out over 97 square-meters thats now empty. It's sad... So much happened here and now nothing will happen here ever again. It's like I can see the ghosts of us, our friends and family doing stuff here... Everything eventually dies apparently...
Summer is also dying, at least that's beautiful....
Well, now I'm going to blast some music, make some food and get in the party-mood because tonight we celebrate Petras new home! Next time it will be my turn! So family and friends, I will see you tonight, in another home than this one...
